Concrete furniture wholesale prices: what drives the cost

Pricing guide · 6 min read · updated 25 Oct 2026 By the Q-Furniture sales team. Reviewed by Paul, Global Sales.
Short answer

Six factors move the FOB price of GFRC and concrete furniture made in Vietnam: size and weight, finish, colour, quantity per model, packing, and tooling for custom designs. Send your model list and quantities and Q-Furniture returns an FOB quote per model within 24 business hours.

Concrete furniture prices vary more than buyers expect because the same silhouette can be cast thin or thick, finished in one pass or five, and packed in a carton or a crate. Knowing which lever does what lets you compare quotes fairly and design a range that hits a retail price.

A quote is only comparable when the specification is. List the model or drawing, size, finish, colour, quantity per model, packing and destination port, and ask every supplier to price the same lines. Weights, CBM and lead times per family are on our pricing page.

Six factors that move the price

1. Size, thickness and weight

Material and handling scale with weight. GFRC lets a top be 22 mm instead of 50 mm, which is why it is usually the cheaper finished piece even though the mix costs more per kilogram; see GFRC vs cast concrete.

2. Finish

Sealed matte is the base price. Honed and polished finishes cost more, because each grinding pass is labour. Textured moulds such as fluting add mould cost instead.

3. Colour

Stocked colours carry no premium. A Pantone or RAL match adds a small amount for the trial batch and the retained chip.

4. Quantity tier

Longer runs spread mould set-up and finishing set-up over more pieces, so the unit price falls as the quantity per model rises. Our quotations show the price for your quantity and for the next tier up.

5. Packing

Carton on pallet is included. Individual plywood crates are quoted per piece and are worth it for tops over 100 cm and basins.

6. Tooling for custom designs

A new mould is quoted once per design, from a simple silicone mould to a multi-part dining table mould, and invoiced once. ODM changes inside an existing mould usually need no tooling; see OEM and ODM manufacturing.

From FOB to landed cost: a worked example

FOBfactory price, loaded at Cat Lai
+ sea freightper piece, from the container rate and CBM
+ duty, VAT, last miledepends on HS code and origin documents

Freight per piece is the container rate divided by the pieces that fit: a 40HQ holds roughly 230 packed coffee tables, so a full container keeps freight per piece low. Duty depends on the HS code and whether you claim preferential origin. Freight by destination is in shipping concrete furniture from Vietnam.

Five ways to lower unit cost without lowering quality

  • Fill the container with mixed models to reach higher tiers and lower freight per piece.
  • Use stocked colours for the core range and keep Pantone matches for hero pieces.
  • Choose sealed matte as the standard finish.
  • Design inside existing moulds (ODM) for the first season.
  • Agree an annual program with a rolling forecast for a price lock.

FAQ

How much does a concrete coffee table cost wholesale?

It depends on size, finish, base and quantity. Send the models and quantities and we return an FOB price per model within 24 business hours.

Why do concrete furniture quotes differ so much between suppliers?

Thickness, material (GFRC or cast), finish passes, sealer, packing and whether the supplier is the factory or a trader all change the price. Compare quotes on the same specification line.

Do you charge for samples?

Yes. The sample fee is quoted with your order and credited against the first production order of that model.

What payment terms are normal?

30% deposit with the proforma invoice and 70% against the QC report before loading. See how we work.
